In Caddis Fell the player starts with 2 level 6 Mistresses, completely surrounded by a neutral hero fortress filled with Giants, Samurai, Barbarians and Monks, and neutral Training Rooms, Treasure Rooms, Hatcheries and Libraries. Outside the "starting" already pre-dug dungeon filled with booby traps is a huge lava lake from side to side of the map, filled with roaming enemy Flies and Archer outposts, a gigantic gold seam to the left, along with a single face of gem seams, and to the right a creature Portal waiting to be claimed and neutral Hellhounds around it.
Most of the top of the map is the main challenge of the level, a gigantic blue bastion with 8, yes, 8, gem seam faces, going from side to side of the map, and to make matters worse, filled with Mistresses, Orcs, Warlocks, Bile Demons and Dragons.
Below the blue Keeper's seemingly impenetrable bastion, there are caves with high level Giants, Samurai, and enemy Horned Reapers along with some Dungeon Specials.
The bottom of the map is a series of hero dungeons filled with labyrinths, ambushes, booby traps (including Boulder Traps), neutral creatures, Dungeon Specials and a gem seam along with an innumerable army of high level heroes.

Trivia[]
In both the original release and in KeeperFX, Blue will sometimes dig out to areas guarded by the hero Horned Reapers before he's ready to deal with them and get killed as a result. If this happens, you don't have to deal with him.
Dungeon Keeper 2 version[]
This level has been ported to Dungeon Keeper 2. It is very faithful to the original, with Elven Archers and Fireflies where in the original are Archers and Flies respectively. However, because Horny is not a normal unit, Knights are used where the original had Horned Reapers. In this version, you must move quickly, lest your Mistresses rebel.
It is meant to be played as a Skirmish map with the default settings.
