He hopes to turn the entire chapter into Vampires, and if he was successful he would be prove to be a powerful adversary. His plans must be halted."

Conversion is the 13th level in Dungeon Keeper 2, located in Cherish.

This level introduces you to the Freeze Trap, and the Monk. Your enemy is Keeper Malleus and after long a period of time or if you get too close to his dungeon, he will unleash his Vampire hordes in a frenzy to destroy you. The key to countering his undead legion is to convert as many Monks and you can support; Vampires cannot reincarnate after being struck down by a Monk. You'll also want several doors and Freeze Traps to slow down his onslaught; Freeze Traps are particularly useful as Vampires will be helpless as they are pounded on by Monks.

You begin with an excavated dungeon in the west of the map, along with six Goblins for early defense. To the north is a Portal that is guarded; as you approach it, a cutscene plays of Monks destroying a Vampire. To the east is hero held territory and the monastery; farther east is Malleus' dungeon. When Malleus launches his assault, remember that Vampires cannot cross water, so you'll want to sell bridges and limit his horde to as few paths as possible, preferably with installed Steel Doors and Freeze Traps. Then it's just a matter of dropping Monks into the vampiric horde; Malleus's forces won't retaliate, as they are too focused on the Call to Arms flag placed in your dungeon heart.
