The demo version of Dungeon Keeper was released sometime after the full game.[vague] Its executable file has a build date of 4 August 1997. The demo has only one level: Eversmile (not the same Eversmile that exists in the full game).
Strangely, there are a few differences to the full game, such as the Panel-switched sound (instead of the button-clicked sound) playing when a button is clicked. Many of the game's unneeded (for the demo) assets appear to have been removed.
The demo version, unlike the full game, is Windows-only; there is no DOS version. The TEXT.DAT file contains the full game's English texts.
