Earth (also known as Rock in Dungeon Keeper 2, or Soft Rock in Dungeon Keeper Mobile) is a type of impassable terrain that can be dug away by Imps and certain heroes, after which dirt path will be left behind. This is one of the most common types of terrain in the series. If it is adjacent to claimed path, Imps can also turn it into reinforced wall, although this takes longer.
Dungeon Keeper[]
Earth can also be dug away by Tunnellers.
When a reinforced wall is de-fortified, the resulting earth tile gets a flambeau if:
- Its position on the x-axis (starting from the top-left) is divisible by 5 and there's claimed path immediately to the north or south. Or:
- Its position on the y-axis is divisible by 5 and there's claimed path immediately to the east or west.
Dungeon Keeper 2[]
Rock can also be dug away by Dwarfs.
Dungeon Keeper Mobile[]
Soft Rock only took three seconds to dig (which is significant, because gem veins took at least four hours), and sometimes yielded gold, stone, or gems.[1] The resulting path could also be reverted to Soft Rock.[2]
