The Firefly is a recruitable creature in Dungeon Keeper 2.


"With their own personal light-source, these creatures are adept at exploring all of the nooks and crannies that any expanding dungeon invariably uncovers. They are swift enough to avoid most trouble and can even fly over hostile terrain to get to those hard to reach places.

Fireflies tend to avoid combat as much as possible, although they do make excellent early warning systems."

Fireflies are the spiritual descendants of the Flies from Dungeon Keeper. Like their cousins, these creatures are excellent scouts, but are very fragile.

  • Fireflies are killed instantly on touching an electric chair in a Torture Chamber.[1]
  • Unless given training, most traps will instantly kill a Firefly.

  • In Possession, the Fireflies see the world in hexagons.
  • Fireflies are not stunned when dropped.[1]
