Jailbreak is a special ability for creatures in Dungeon Keeper 2. When pressing the hotkey Num Pad 0 in Possession while standing in an enemy Prison, captive creatures can be freed. As of the current available versions of the game, this ability is available to everyone, except a few possible unusual examples.[clarification needed]
The original owner of this ability is currently unknown before it was made available for all creatures. However faint speculation may point to Rogue and Thief.
Upon activating the ability, the Prison door opens and lets prisoners walk out. Depending on certain factors relating to game version, the central cell bars of the holding area may also get ruined, allowing captives to walk through them slowly finding the fastest route out.
Also relating to version history, it was possible to experience non-possessed creatures also performing this feat, mainly hero ones invading the player Keeper's domain.
Trivia[]
- Jailbreak is also the name of the mechanic that automatically happens when you manually overcrowd a Prison.
- Prima Official Game Guide lists Imps and The Princes as creatures that do not have this ability.
