Shintaro Kanaoya was a level designer of Dungeon Keeper and the lead level designer of Dungeon Keeper 2.[1][2] He designed the first game's first 13 levels (Eversmile to Buffy Oak).[1]
He also planted a secret message that says hello to his friends and mother into Dungeon Keeper.[1] It is possibly the commented out line in the script for Hearth that says: 'CHAZ,MATT,LOUISE,NICK,MUM AND VARIOUS OTHERS - HELLO'.
